Marketing books - Marketing 3.0 by Philip Kotler

Philip Kotler (born 27 May 1931 in Chicago) is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He received his master's degree at the University of Chicago and his PhD at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in economics. He did postdoctoral work in mathematics at Harvard University and in behavioral science at the University of Chicago.

Marketing 3.0 is a great resource for who wants to know about the evolution of marketing.
Professor Philip Kotler expalains this evolution talking about the power of consumers and how the most impotant social networks (Facebook, Twitter , MySpace) are influencing their behaivour.
It is very interesting when he talks about the evolution of marketing from stage 1.0 to 3.0 and the significant changes in over 20 years, how technology is driving the behaivour and why now it is so different from stage 1.0.
